Description
- Reads blueprints and job orders for
product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances,
tooling
instructions,
and fixtures in order to determine sequence of operations.
- Sets up machines by positioning all work holding devices
and/or fixtures, machine controls and/or programs, and
adjusts all speeds, feeds, and depths of cuts to accomplish
part production requirements.
- Positions and secures parts in holding
devices, machine table, chuck, centers, or fixtures, using
clamps and wrenches.
- Starts up and moves controls to position tools and parts
in relation to each other on machines.
- Observes operation of machines and verifies conformance
of machined part to specifications, using measuring instruments,
such as fixed gauges, calipers, and micrometers, and maintains
all required documentation.
- Maintains cleanliness
of parts, equipment, and work areas.
- Maintains lubrication
requirements of parts and equipment.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Hours: Full-time, 2nd Shift position, M-R 3:30 p.m. -
Midnight, F 12:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
